2026 OAPABA Foundation Scholarship – Now Accepting Applications

 

The OAPABA Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 Law Student Scholarship. At least one $2,500 scholarship will be awarded statewide to a law student who demonstrates a strong commitment to serving the Asian Pacific American community, academic excellence, dedication to diversity and inclusion, and financial need.


The OAPABA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established by the Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association to support and develop future leaders through scholarships and fellowships.


Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM PST on March 15, 2026. The scholarship will be presented at the OAPABA Gala Dinner on April 9, 2026, in Portland, OR.

The Oregon Asian Pacific American Bar Association was formed in 2009 as a professional association to represent the interests of Asian Pacific American attorneys, judges, legal professionals, and law students. The mission of OAPABA is:

Advancement: To promote the professional development and advancement of APA attorneys through education, research, and programs.

Advocacy: To act as a vehicle and forum for expressing opinions on matters of concern to APA attorneys and our communities.

Communication: To encourage and foster communication among APA attorneys on issues affecting our work, communities, and government.

MEMBERSHIP 

 

Membership is open to lawyers, judges, law students, and paralegals throughout Oregon. Lawyers do not need to be members of the Oregon State Bar to join.

OAPABA members receive automatic membership in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).
